Rewards and Praise at Woodfield Academy

At Woodfield, our ethos is underpinned by praise. We have endeavoured to build our everyday practice around an ethos of inclusivity. This includes ensuring that everyone has the high expectations where a ‘culture of praise’ is fostered by students and staff.

It is our inclusive approach that underpins our drive to ensure that all pupils are encouraged to have positive attitudes and become happy, life-long learns that truly value education. Pupils are rewarded for their effort, attitude and daily commitment to the #OneWoodfield ethos. Pupils are actively encouraged to demonstrate the Academies core values of Respect, Resilience, Compassion and Responsibility.

We use a wide range of methods to recognise and acknowledge our pupils’ commitment, effort and achievements. All students are rewarded daily through the use of epraise by collecting ‘positive Points’, These points can be saved and spent from items within the school shop. (More details below)
