World Record Attempt For The Most People Dressed As A Butterfly

Posted on June 11th, 2018 World Record Attempt For The Most People Dressed As A Butterfly

Today the school is attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the most people dressed as a Butterfly! To do this we all dressed in black with our wings and deely boppers and 250 people is the number to beat.

Why on earth are we all dressed as butterflies? Glad you asked. We are trying to support our local pollinators. We need these amazing insects, such as butterflies and bees to help pollinate the plants that make our world beautiful and give us our food to eat. You can help by growing butterfly and bee friendly plants and let your grass grow a little longer. You could even build a bug house for your garden out of some plastic bottles and straws!

Thank you to all of our stewards and the independent adjudicators, from Imagination Street (Redditch) and Aspens Catering Company, that helped to make our Guinness World Record Attempt Official.

Remember to listen to BBC Hereford and Worcester local news to hear audio about our school trying to break the World Record. Well Done to everyone that took part today the paper will be sent to Guinness and we will hopefully have a Guinness World Record!

Well Done Woodfield for such an amazing attempt!
